August 2, 2020

Covid-19 has kept me from running my own gallery, but NYC looks better now. Other galleries have already begun to work with appointments only or accept limited numbers of people.

I fixed the wall of the gallery and painted it today. It’s kind of refreshing. I’m looking forward to accepting new works.

I’m tired of painting, so (it’s an excuse, as usual)

I took out our dinner from the Fiat Cafe.

While I was waiting for the food, I saw the water tower in the sky. If I were a poet, I could make one or two lovely freestyle haiku of the subject of the water tower. It’s a pity.

食べ物ができるのを待ってる間、空にwater towerが見えました。もし私が、気の利いた詩人だったら、この議題で自由律俳句の一つや二つ、作るんだけどなあ。残念。

Very striking image- the water towers are such a unique part of New York’s architectural skyline aren’t they. Did you see British artist Rachel Whiteread chose to cast one in resin – it looks like a ghost tower – and was her first NY commission.
