Japan seems to be setsubun today. 日本は今日節分らしいです。

Setsubun is holiday for end of winter. 節分は、冬の終わりの記念日。

I forgot, but I slightly remembered that Professor Miyamoto of my art college’s history of Japanese art talked about the importance of Setsubun. Also, I’ve heard that this day is like New Year’s at the Reizei family in Kyoto.


It’s a day to scream demons outside and fortunes inside, and throw beans at home.


Kuroneko’s blog reminded me of that.
