There are two great summer songs. Lovely, fun, and nonsense.

Very hot every day. I can’t stand.

However, I commute to my studio, I do painting spy women. And I think about them, and I am terrified about their stories. Then, when I realized the studio’s air condition made me shiver. And it is time go back home.

kinks, Lazy Old Sun. This kind of dull summer song is also a favorite song of mine.

I guess the summer of Camus’ novel “The Stranger” was such a heavy summer. The sun was “Lazy Old Sun”.

Lazy old sun. It may be the jury living with that stiff, old convention.

Summertime, Summertime- The Jamies

It’s summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime summertime…Well shut them books and throw ’em away
And say goodbye to dull school days
Look alive and change your ways
It’s summertime…Well no more studying history
And no more reading geography
And no more dull geometry
Because it’s summertime()
It’s time to head straight for them hills
It’s time to live and have some thrills
Come along and have a ball
A regular free-for-allWell are you comin’ or are you ain’t
You slow poke are my one complaint
Hurry up before I faint
It’s summertimeWell I’m so happy that I could flip
Oh how I’d love to take a trip
I’m sorry teacher but zip your lip
Because it’s summertime()Well we’ll go swimmin’ every day
No time to work just time to play
If your folks complain just say,
“It’s summertime”And every night we’ll have a dance
Cause what’s a vacation without romance
Oh man this jive gets me in a trance
Because it’s summertimeIt’s summertimeIt’s summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime
Summertime summertime sum sum summertime

Summertime Blues- Eddie Cochran

I’m gonna raise a fuss, I’m gonna raise a holler
About a-workin’ all summer just to try to earn a dollar
Every time I call my baby, try to get a date
My boss says, “no dice son, you gotta work late”
Sometimes I wonder what I’m a-gonna do
But there ain’t no cure for the summertime bluesWell, my mom and pop told me, “son, you gotta make some money”
If you want to use the car to go ridin’ next Sunday
Well, I didn’t go to work, told the boss I was sick
“Well, you can’t use the car ’cause you didn’t work a lick”
Sometimes I wonder what I’m a gonna do
But there ain’t no cure for the summertime bluesI’m gonna take two weeks, gonna have a fine vacation
I’m gonna take my problem to the United Nations
Well, I called my congressman and he said “whoa!”
“I’d like to help you son but you’re too young to vote”
Sometimes I wonder what I’m a gonna do
But there ain’t no cure for the summertime blues

Lazy Old Sun- Kinks

Lazy old sun
What have you done to summertime?
Hiding away
Behind all those misty thunder clouds
I don’t mind
To spend my time
Looking for you
For you are my one reality
When I’m dead and gone
Your light will shine eternally
Sunny rain, shine my way
Kiss me with one ray of light from your lazy old sun
You make the rainbows and you make the night disappear
You melt the frost so I won’t criticize my sun
When I was young
My world was three foot, seven inch tall
When you were young
There was no world at all
Sunny rain, shine my way
Kiss me with one ray of light from your lazy old sun
Lazy old sun
Lazy old sun
Lazy old sun
