June 16, 2020

It’s already mid June.

Every year, The Hokkaido Shrine annual festival is held from June 14th to 16th. When this is over, the summer heat will begin in Hokkaido.

It seems to be canceled this year.

This is to prevent the spread of new corona virus infection

It’s a shame that things don’t go as planned. But I’m thrilled that the Universe has allowed me to stop and think.

Every year of this time, I think of my uncle, who died in an accident at the Hokkaido Shrine Annual Festival when I was a teenager, and I think of my grand parents and ancestors.

I pray for the souls of my ancestors who made my life. And I want to say thank you.
