I’m going to replace this plant with a large bowl in the back. It has grown quite large and has come out of the bowl.

I wonder if I should put together with this small one.

This small one came from this lager one.

    Therefore, they are one family.

Today’s ダン蔵’s teeth treatment worked well.

But the treatment is not over yet.

It is not easy to continue the treatment safely. Because he takes many different kinds of drugs, I ask his general doctor about the medicines he should not take before every procedure. His general doctor is very kind. Actually, I am also his patient.

The doctor understood that care of ダン蔵 is not easy. Once, he prescribed me anti-depression medicine. However, I didn’t use it. But, It is stored in my drawer. For just in case.

Last night, I opened the book “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”, and then, I regret it. Damn it! I should’ve bought a picture book!

This morning, ダン蔵 asked me if I have a plan to make some drawings for the book. I said you read my mind. I was regret that I didn’t buy a picture book about this story. And he smiled and said “I see!”

The weather report said there will be thunder at 6 pm. This sky is around 5 pm. I was on the way home. Gloria; ダン蔵’s physical therapist comes this evening. I hoped not to rain for her. And there was no rain.

Gloria comes for ダン蔵 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday since ダン蔵 came back from a hospital in February 2017. His recovery is due to his strong will and her help.

Tomorrow is a big day for ダン蔵. There is a dentist’s appointment for him!!!

I’m not sure whether to buy it or not.

This one may be good too.

Anyway, I want to say that all Americans must listen to Dr. Fauci said.

The Bible story of God making a man out of mud and a woman out of that man’s ribs is a myth.

    I am disappointment about myself.

A person asked me that she would like to visit my studio and see my works. But, she said she wants to come after 4 pm.

After 4 pm; this is a time I have to go back home.

ダン蔵 goes to bed very early every night. Therefore, we have to eat dinner early. I need to be at home around 5 pm.

So, I said no to her.

I think I should have said yes to her. ダン蔵 can eat dinner alone.

    But, I said no.

Maybe I am tired. I think I don’t want to see people. I like being alone in my studio.

Other than that, ダン蔵 is the most important in my life.

The night after ダン蔵 sleeps is long. I read books and enjoy being alone again.

Before ダン蔵 fell and hospitalized in 2016, after he went to bed, he went back to the studio and painted. Now that habit has ceased. Because I don’t want anything in ダン蔵 when I’m not there.

A long time ago, my high school friend Seiko was married and gave her baby birth. Soon after, she divorced. I phoned her. I asked to see her and her baby. She said no. She said she doesn’t want to see anyone and she and her baby is enough.
    I felt sad.
    But, I understand her now.

The photo is Robert Mangold’s painting. I like the sharpness that is so sophisticated that I can’t say anything about it.

But tonight, these two ”X” are telling me that I am a failure.

Speaking of which, I haven’t taken a taxi at all since COVID-19 has happened. And I don’t see many of them run.

My 20s; I used to read three news papers. Asahi Shinbun, Nikkei Shinbun, and my local news paper Hokkaido Shinbun,

The Asahi gave me information about Japan in general, and the Hokkaido Shimbun taught me what I need to know about the locals.

And about Nikkei Shinbun; I don’t know about the economy. The stock market is a gibberish.

But! My favorite was the column on the back page, “My resume”.

“My Resume” tells celebrities looking back on their lives and what happened in their lives to the present day.

So, Weekday reads that column every day. The weekend was very rich in culture and I read every page of the newspaper. I have never seen the movement of the stock market, and I do not know how to look at it.

“My resume” is said to be published as a book, but I had never seen it at a bookstore at that time.

I always check Amazon Japan and order if I find such a rare book.

However, most books don’t send to the US. However, sometimes there are kind stores that will send it to the US.

Due to the COVID-19, mailing seems to be confusing, so it took almost two months after I ordered this book.

I am very happy to receive this book.

This book was published in 1983. Much before I started to read the column.

In this book, there is a poet Muroh Saisei’s resume.

I’ve visited his birthplace when I was 19, so I’m deeply moved.

One of his poem; My hometown is far away and I think of it. And I sing sadly.

I read the poem when I was a teenager. Why did it get my heart?

When I was a teenager, I never imagined that I would live far away from Japan and live abroad.

However, I’m neither sad and nor lonely.

    I’m fortunate.

He passed away 1962. Before I was born.
