July 14, 2020

My friend Kate went back to her home town, Missouri for some weeks. She sent to me this beautiful picture this evening.

Actually, She sent me a few seconds of video of this image, but it does not move at all.

I imagined that the gray between the greens was a river, not asphalt.

I’m not good at geography. 地理には詳しくないけど、

My imagination inspired the adventures of Tom Sawyer.

So, I looked it up, and I learned that Mark Twain born in Missouri.

I never read Adventures of Huckleberry Finn but, when I was a kid, some adults said Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is much adventurous than Tom Sawyer’s.

私は、ハックルベリーフィンの冒険を読んだことはありませんが、子供の頃、Huckleberry FinnTom Sawyerの話よりもはるかに面白い言う大人もいました。

More synchronicity – this time with Missouri and adventure stories, both books offer us important insights and lessons in life, …thanks for reminding and re connecting 🌷

    Dear Pamela,
The spy which I am painting now; one of the spies is Josephine Baker. She also came from Missouri….
So sad. She had no food when she was a kid.
