My friend Kate went back to her home town, Missouri for some weeks. She sent to me this beautiful picture this evening.

友達のケイトが、数週間故郷のミゾーリに帰省しています。夕方、彼女はこの綺麗なイメージを送ってくれました。

Actually, She sent me a few seconds of video of this image, but it does not move at all.

これ、本当は数秒の映像なんですが、全く動きません。

I imagined that the gray between the greens was a river, not asphalt.

私はこの、緑と緑の間のグレーは、アスファルトではなく、川だと想像しました。

I’m not good at geography. 地理には詳しくないけど、

My imagination inspired the adventures of Tom Sawyer.

私のその想像は、トムソーヤの冒険を呼び起こさせました。

So, I looked it up, and I learned that Mark Twain born in Missouri.

それで、調べてみたら、マークトウエインもミゾーリの方でした。

I never read Adventures of Huckleberry Finn but, when I was a kid, some adults said Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is much adventurous than Tom Sawyer’s.

私は、ハックルベリーフィンの冒険を読んだことはありませんが、子供の頃、Huckleberry Finn はTom Sawyerの話よりもはるかに面白い言う大人もいました。
