There are piled-up books in my studio. But it is only a part of my library. There are more books in my storage area. I am an artist and also running a tiny art gallery. My library/storage area is also works for as a hallway between my studio and the gallery. But the area has so many things and it was difficult to pass by.

I noticed that there are people called “minimalist” in Japan. They don’t have many belongings. I don’t think I could be “minimalist”. However, I saw some youtube transmission of their programs. I was influenced by their channels a little. I organized my hallway/library/storage area. Now, I can pass it through, okay. It still has a ton of stuff, however…

ダン蔵 goes to have an iced latte and a croissant at Cafe Grampy every morning. He left behind his keys and wallet at home this morning. This is the 2nd time he forgets to bring them. After he came back home, he told me that the barista was kindly served him the iced latte and a croissant without charging him. This is also a 2nd time. So, I run to the Grampy for an apology. The cute barista said to me that you guys come here all the time, so, never mind.
What an angel!

ダン蔵’s desk. He reads many books at the same time. These books all have a beautiful cover.

T.J. Clark, Heaven on Earth,
Gustave Flaubert, Salammbo,
Herman Melville, Billy Budd, Bartleby, and Other Stories,
Herman Melville, Israel Potter His Fifty Years of Exile,

Recently, he added Marguerite Duras.

On the way back home from Bogota. the Beautiful sky and the sea overwhelmed me. They are amazing. However, they are actually crying for global warming.

Last time I was in Bogota, 2019, I notice many soldiers with rifle around everywhere. But, this time I stay a different part of the city and I didn’t see any soldier, but, many security people with a dog. I think it is a safer city than before? In Bogota, all soldiers and security people are young and fit. In NYC, I see many soldiers at the Grand Central station. Most of them are…. fat, … or big. I wonder if they can move quickly if something bad happens suddenly.

I met a sweet couple in Bogota. But, he charged me for the photos I’ve taken. Be careful tourists!

I saw this brutalist building in Bogota.

This building reminds me of an Architect, Ermö Goldfinger ( 1902 – 1987). The villain character on 007, Goldfinger, this name derived from Ermö Goldfinger because he was a mean guy.

There is his house on 2 Willow Road, London. The beautiful modern house you can visit.

This is a neighbor of Hampstead heath. You can enjoy walking in this area. Also some lovely restaurants near the house.

An image from the hotel window that I am staying. Cloudy. But, warmer than NYC. No time difference between Bogota and NYC. I don’t have a jet-lag. However, I feel a distance.

It was a night flight. We arrived at Bogota after midnight. It was one hour delayed because of rain.
