Wow! It’s July, already! Can’t believe it…! Time flew so fast since COVID 19 has happened. There was no time to be bored.
うわー！ もう既に7月。 信じられない…！ COVID 19が発生して以来、時間があっという間でした。 退屈する暇はありませんでした。
In whatever environment, I have so many things to do. How lucky I am!?
どのような環境下でも、やることがたくさんあって、私って、なんて幸運なの！？

それにしても、エクササイズする時間がありません。

COVID 19’s case is getting up again in America. In New York, we still keep getting down for now and we are slowly and safely open the business again.
アメリカでは、COVID 19 の件は、再び悪くなってます。ニューヨークでは、まだ、抑える事に成功してて、少しづつ、安全にビジネスを再開させています。
CNN’s Chris Cuomo has got in Corona once, but he’s fine now.

Last night, it rained heavily near 7:00 pm, and the thunderstruck, and it took about 30 minutes.

The wooden panel covering the NYC shops are being peeled off little by little. Some shops are ready to open again, and some shops are cleared off their stuff and closed for good.
NYCのショップを覆っていた木製パネルが少しずつ剥がれています。 いくつかの店は再びオープンする準備ができており、いくつかの店は彼らの荷物を片付けて閉店しています。
May 19th, I mentioned that a shop person gave me his happy note. I walked by front of his shop today and his shop has working on closing the shop. I was shocked and I saw him through the window. We waved hands each other and he made his gesture that said he moved a shop one block way. He is all okay!
先月、５月１９日に書いた、パッピーノートをくれた人のお店が、今日、前を通ったら、閉店作業をしていました。それで、驚いて、窓越しに見えた彼に手を振ったら、彼は仕草で、店を一丁隣のブロックにうつるよ。と。彼のお店は大丈夫です！と。
This made me very happy.
安心しました。
We pressed hands in prayer and waved our hands again with a smile.
私たちはお互いに合掌して、手を触り合いました。笑顔で。
I felt happiness.
幸運だと思いました。

Slowly, restaurants have started to open. But, we can eat there only outside or pickup and delivery.
ゆっくりと、レストランがオープンし始めました。 でも、外でしか食べられないか、持ち帰るかデリバリーしてもらうかです。
ダン蔵 and my favorite Fanelli’s cafe also open finally.
ダン蔵と私のお気に入りの Fanelli’s cafe もついに開きました。
I hugged each other involuntarily when I met my favorite waitress again.
大好きなウエイトレスとの再会に、思わず抱き合ってしまった。
But, the menu was limited. I picked up a few things ダン蔵 might love. He likes them, and we had a good dinner.
でも、メニューは限られていました。その中から、多分ダン蔵が気に入るものを選んで、持ち帰りました。ダン蔵はそれらに喜んで、良い夕食になりました。

It’s summer. 夏です。
Speaking of which, June 21 was the summer solstice.
そう言えば、６月２１日は夏至でした。
I think NYC is similar to Hokkaido where I came from.
ニューヨークは私の出身地である北海道に似ていると思います。
There is no rainy season.
梅雨はなく、
It will be cooler after the time of Obon (August 13~16).
お盆の頃を過ぎれば涼しくなります。
What makes NYC different from Hokkaido is that after that, there is Indian Summer, and autumn is warmer than Hokkaido.
NYCの北海道と違うところは、そのあと、インデアンサマーがあって、秋は北海道より暖かいというところです。
Besides, snow bugs fly in Hokkaido before it snows. New York does not have it.
それに、北海道は雪が降る前に雪虫が飛びます。ニューヨークにはそれがありません。
Snow bugs die just by touching them. It is an ephemeral existence.
雪虫は触れるだけで死んでしまいます。儚い存在です。

By coincidence, I found my favorite song when I was small. Nikki-Nyakki. It is a magic word Nikki-Nyakki. If you said Nikki-Nyakki, the food you dislike disappears and the food you love shows up front of you.

Since COVID 19 has started, there is a long line in front of the Bowery mission NYC in my neighborhood. They have been giving food to people.

My friends get unemployment support and they are okay.

I changed the pot of this orchid a few days ago. And the orchid lost most of the leaves. I thought I killed it. I felt very bad. But! It grows a new branch.
数日前に、この蘭の鉢を取り替えたら、葉っぱをみるみる散らしてしまって、私、これを殺してしまった！と、思ったんだけど、でも、新しい枝が出てきた。
This made me very happy.
それで、とても救われた気持ち。
