Even if you say so, if you are not Japanese, you never know what “Radish Moon” is. Actually, I’m not sure if it is okay that I should translate 大根の月(daikon no tuki) to “Radish Moon”. However, ダイコン is Radish and ツキ is a moon.
His birthday is coming up soon. He got a card from Kuronrko-poo san. And it made him very happy. He said he never likes birthday, but this card made him likes his birthday.
There is a restaurant called “Lovely Day” near my apartment. Lovely Day is run by a Japanese lady. She is a “lovely” woman herself. About ten years ago, her restaurant had a fire, and NYFD did not give her work permission over a year. However, at last, her restaurant came back to our community. Her business has been stable and getting stronger. She has started another restaurant nearby some years ago. She is a successful business owner. But, again, she faced with difficulty. The coronavirus has been attacking her business now. Restaurants can run only for pick up and delivery.
However, not only her business. We are all having the same problem. A strict regulation made almost all businesses must close except drug stores and grocery stores.
