Even though there were so many clouds around noon,
お昼頃はこんなに雲があったのに、
It looks like this in the evening. 夕方にはこんな感じ。
I can see a crescent moon where diagonally above the clouds.
雲より、斜め上には三日月も見える。
I don’t like summer. 夏は嫌いだ。
It’s too hot. 暑過ぎ。
I don’t like winter too. 冬も嫌い。
It’s too cold. 寒過ぎ。
I hate this and I hate that. これも嫌い、あれも嫌い。
This feeling remind me this book. この感じはこの本を思い出させた。

子供の頃に読んだ絵本、せなけいこさんの「いやだ、いやだ」。
Well, I think I am somehow upset.

ダン蔵’s younger brother and his wife visited us this evening. We had a dinner at our favorite cafe near our apartment.
ダン蔵の弟夫婦が訪ねてきてくれました。家の行きつけの近所のcafeで夕食しました。

We are living on the third floor of an apartment. There is no elevator. ダン蔵 hospitalized in 2016, and after seven months of hospitalization, he couldn’t walk at that time. So, I installed a chairlift on the stairs of my apartment.
家はアパートの三階です。エレベーターはありません。2016年にダン蔵が入院し、７ヶ月余りの入院生活で歩けなくなった時、アパートの階段にチェアリフトを付けました。
Now he can walk, but it is difficult to go up and down the stairs for him.
今、彼は歩けますが、階段の上り下りは難しいです。
The chairlift got stuck and the person in charge had already left the company. And I called the company many times, but the company has been no help three days since I started calling. A woman on the phone said the company has a lack of staff.
そのチェアリフトが動かなくなり、その担当者だった人はすでに会社を辞めており、私は、その会社に何度も電話をしましたが、対応が悪く、「人手が足りない」と言って３日経っても修理の人は来てくれませんでした。
However, a person who recently helped me with my gallery searched the internet for a company that sells the same chairlift and made an appointment for repairs, even though it was Sunday today, the repairman came and fixed it. I thought it was amazing and I deeply appreciate both my new assistant and the repairman. Thank you so much!
しかし、最近私のギャラリーを手伝ってくれてる人が、そのチェアリフトを扱ってる別の会社をインターネットで調べてくれて、修理の予約もしてくれて、その会社の人は、今日、日曜日だったにも関わらず、来てくれ、直してくれました。私はそれは、あまりに有難い事だと思い、私の新しいアシスタントと修理の方に感謝でいっぱいです。ありがとうございます。

Today, the highest temperature was 90 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it seems that the air conditioners in the house are not working, and the inside of the house feels hotter than the outside. I bought a fun about a week ago.
今日は最高気温、華氏９０度でした。しかし、家のエアコンデイションはどうやら働いてない様で、家の中は、外より暑い感じ。私は一週間ほど前に扇風機を買いました。
ダン蔵’s doctor advises him not to go outside when the temperature is above 80 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the temperature inside the house is over 80 degrees.
ダン蔵のドクターは華氏８０度以上の時は彼に外に行かない様に進めてます。なのに、家の中が８０度以上です。
ダン蔵 has contacted the air conditioner company for a few days, but the company didn’t reply even if he left a message.
ダン蔵は数日前からエアコン会社に連絡してましたが、メッセージを残してもお返事なし。
Finally, I called the company many times yesterday and I could talk them, but I got a bad impression.
ついに私は、その会社に何度も電話をして彼らと話すことが出来ましたが、やな感じ。
Therefore, I walked in a store on 1st Avenue who sell air conditioner this afternoon.
なので、今日の午後、１アベニューにあるエアコンショップを訪ねました。
I want to buy a window air conditioner!
私は窓に設置するエアコンが一台欲しいです！
I said to the shop person. と、私はお店の人に言いました。
Then he asked me how big is the apartment? 彼は、アパートはどれくらいの広さ？と、聞きました。
So, I explained to him the situation. he said it should take a look from the air conditioner company first.
それで、私は状況説明をしましたらば、まずはその会社に見てもたっら方が良いよー。って。
But I want an air conditioner now! でも私はエアコンが今欲しい！
He said even if I order now, it will take a week. もし、今注文しても一週間かかるよ。と彼は言った。
And he said he wants to give me some cold drink. Then, そして彼は、私に何か冷たい飲み物をと、言って、
He gave me a bottle of GATORADE. I said thank you. 彼は私にゲータレードのボトルを一本くれました。私はありがとうと言いました。
However, this is the first time I got a bottle of GATORADE in my entire life as I am not sporty person.
しかしながら、これは人生初のゲータレードです。スポーツしないし、縁がない。
This is America! これがアメリカだ！
If you are not sporty, you have a right to have GATORADE!
スポーツしなくても、ゲータレード、飲んでいいみたいです！

There is thunder outside. It’s raining cats and dogs. But I don’t have an umbrella.
外で雷が鳴ってます。大雨です。なのに、わたしは傘が無い。
This is just before I thought about going back home from my studio.
今、仕事場で、そろそろ帰ろうかと、思った矢先にこれです。
Today is the day when ダン蔵’s physical therapist is coming at 6pm.
今日は６時にダン蔵のフィジカルセラピストが来る日なのに。
I have to give him dinner before she comes but,
セラピストが来る前にダン蔵に夕食を提供しないといけないのに、
I called Uber. It’s usually costs less than $ 15 to my apartment from my studio, but now it says it’s $ 42.
ウーバーを呼んでみたら、スタジオから家まで、普段＄１５以下なのに、今この時、＄４２と言っている。
So, I called ダン蔵 and told him this situation. He said, “This is the capitalism.” A cool answer.
ダン蔵に電話し、この事を告げると、「これが資本主義ってもんだぜ。」との、クールな答え。
And he continued that I’ll warm up a tin soup and does the therapy when she comes. I hope you can come back meanwhile.
そして彼は続けて言った、「缶のスープを温めて飲む、セラピストが来たらセラピーをする。その間に帰って来れると良いね。」と。
Therefor, this song came crossed my head. “I don’t have an umbrella.”
それで、頭をよぎるのはやはりこの曲。「傘がない」。

It was annoying to see small flies flying in the cafe I always go to. But one day, the cafe mom happily said, the flies have gone! And She added proudly her comment that there is no customer yesterday, so she wiped all over the cafe with white vinegar.
いつも行くカフェには小蝿が飛んでいてうっとおしかった。しかしある日、カフェのママが嬉しそうに言った、蝿がいなくなったでしょう！彼女は昨日、cafeがあんまりにも暇だったんで、ホワイトビネガーで店中を拭き掃除をしたそうなのだ。
So, since then, I’ve bought the cheapest white vinegar, attached the spray part that comes with the detergent, and used it for cleaning.
なので、それ以来、私も一番安いホワイトビネガーを買ってきて、洗剤に付いているスプレー部分を取り付けて拭き掃除の時に使っている。
It may be more earth-friendly than using detergent.
洗剤を使うよりも、地球に優しい感じで良いかも。
